1. What sizes of shipping containers are available?

We stock 10ft, 20ft, and 40ft containers in both standard and high cube formats. Specialised options are available, including pallet wide, open side, dangerous goods, and custom modified units.

2. What’s the difference between new and used containers?

New containers are single trip units that are straight, clean, and ready for long term use. Used containers are graded by condition, such as cargo worthy or wind and watertight, and they offer excellent value.

3. Are your containers weatherproof and secure?

Yes. All units are built from corten steel and include heavy duty locking bars, sealed floors, and weather resistant paint to support security and durability.

4. Can I modify a shipping container?

Yes. Modifications can include roller doors, air conditioning, insulation, and other changes to suit workspaces, storage, or dwelling style use.

5. Do I need council approval for a shipping container?

Approval is usually required, especially for long term placement or habitation. Check with your local council or a qualified certifier for the rules in your area.

6. What is a pallet wide container?

A pallet wide container is slightly wider, typically 2.42m, which allows two standard South African pallets to fit side by side. Standard containers are usually about 2.35m wide.

7. How are shipping containers delivered?

Delivery options include tilt tray, side loader, or crane truck delivery, depending on the container type and your site access. Remote area delivery can be arranged.

8. Are containers insulated?

Standard containers are not insulated. Factory insulated models are available, or insulation can be retrofitted using EPS, PIR panels, or spray foam.

9. Can containers be stacked or turned into buildings?

Yes. Containers can be stacked and engineered into offices, homes, and studios. Modular container frames are also available for builders.

10. Do you offer finance options?

Yes, finance options are available to suit different projects and budget requirements.

11. Do you offer rentals?

No, rentals are not currently available.
